Art in Embassies Program, US Department of State
I’m excited to share that two of my pieces are now part of the Art in Embassies Program of the US Department of State. The Art of Embassies program was envisioned by the Museum of Modern Art in 1953, and President John F. Kennedy formalized it at the U.S. Department of State in 1963, with the idea of “showing how art can transcend national borders and build connections among peoples”.
My Theater District piece from the pandemic and the Hudson River Sunset are now part of the collection of the United States Embassy in Asunción, Paraguay.
